What is The Ghoulish Oktoberfest?

The Ghoulish Oktoberfest is a fall themed film festival geared to bringing local Carolina filmmakers together in order to encourage and promote the growth of film in the Carolina's.

10 selected filmmakers will be given two genres for their film: comedy, drama, horror, sci-fi, fantasy, etc., and filmmakers MUST set their film during the fall season using either of the two genres given to them or both combined.

Completed films can be no longer than five minutes, including the end credits.

Filmmakers MUST be a resident of North or South Carolina and must provide previous links to their work upon registration.

There is NO ENTRY FEE for participating filmmakers. 

ALL SELECTED FILMMAKERS WILL HAVE THEIR FILMS SCREENED AT RICHLAND COUNTY LIBRARY NE FOR THE FESTIVAL!

Registration, this year, is opened from September 17th through September 22nd at 5pm.

The 10 selected filmmakers will receive their genres on September 22nd after 5pm, and the completed films must be turned in no later than 11:59pm on October 2nd.

The Ghoulish Oktoberfest Screening will be held on Saturday, October 5th from 3:30pm - 5:30pm at The Richland County Library NE 7490 Parklane rd, Columbia, SC 29223!
